Antique Stinkwood Folding Camping Chair — Weathered, Broken Riempies

A genuine antique South African folding camping chair, made from stinkwood — clearly old, with a heavily weathered patina consistent with having spent considerable time outdoors, exposed to the elements. Riempie seating became a South African classic starting with the 1820 British settlers, who needed lightweight, sturdy chairs for a life on the move.
